Melling Industries has the capability to roll thread parts in house:

• At Melling Industries we use both Salvo and Winter thread attachments to form our rolled threads, which allows us to displace metal in a precise and controlled manner.
  
  
• In terms of threaded parts the majority of the threads produced at Melling Industries are rolled threads which are said to be better in terms of strength and finish than cut threads.  We also have the ability to produce parts with characteristics such as rolled splines, knurls, and serrations.
  
  
• We have the capability to produce a large range of sizes from ¼” to 2 1/2”.
